FABRaiCATIONS was formed by Rai Curry, in 1996, to supply fabricated steelwork for the deployment of microwave radio communications. Rai’s involvement in motorsport, led to the inevitable question “can you build me a rollcage?” and by early 1998 his reputation for rollcage work, led to a change in the business’ direction becoming a fulltime ROPs manufacturer.

In 2003 FABRaiCATIONS built the rollcages and underbody guards for the Holden Rally Team which included Peter Brock and former Australian Rally Champion Geoff Portman as well as the Holden utility used by V8 Supercar champion Greg Murphy to compete in New Zealand’s ‘Race to the Sky’. Other notable projects have included fabrication works on the Ford Rally Team’s Focus and S2000 Fiesta’s, ROPs for both Holden and Ford’s proving ground test vehicles and we have been working with Team Mitsubishi Ralliart since 2006 for the design and build of ROPs for their Lancer Evolutions.

FABRaiCATIONS now employs fabricators and mechanics who have a wide range of experience, including V8 Supercars, Rally, Drags, open wheelers and offroaders. From National level down to club level, professional to part-time, and from the most basic of components, to complete turnkey vehicles, FABRaiCATIONS has the knowledge and experience to give you the competitive edge………………with safety.
